Yukon Courts

- Facilitation – a 3-day workshop for the law courts on reimagining the future of the court experience.
- Attendees were the Chief Justice of the Land, Deputy Ministers, Lawyers, Department heads and Law librarians
- Worked through listening activities, brainstorming, scenario modeling, prioritization and scoping, future planning, budgeting, and roadmaps.
- Outputs; excellent clarity and alignment for everyone in the room, clear priorities for the next quarter and next fiscal year, and a long list of ideas and projects for the future.
Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce

- Led workshops with 7 department heads across the chamber from startup incubators to women’s leadership groups and member services to the executive team.
- There was low alignment between the departments, no sharing of data, and low trust.
- The workshops captured ideas, challenges to overcome, roadblocks, opportunities, and non-negotiables for each department.
- Each group worked through a process to gather ideas and prioritize, with the context that their priorities would be balanced against the overall priorities of the chamber.
- Output was a prioritized list of key features and requirements, and a decision document that the executive team used to select a software product and a vendor they chose to implement for a successful project.
Fox Sports discovery

- The landscape of the Fox digital ecosystem was fragmented by an acquisition by Disney and then Fox purchasing back their company.
- The Discovery project was done virtually through Zoom and meeting notes to capture the complexity of the technical infrastructure.
- Over a 2 month period we captured the full technical complexity of the project and made plans to address any issues.
- The system was so vast and complex that until this project was undertaken no one person in the company had a full sense of all the moving parts and issues.
- Outputs; a clear plan to tackle the issue, a high-level roadmap, and a long list of features that were essential for success.
City of Surrey – Citizen Interviews, Stakeholder Consultation

- The City of Surrey was launching a new website and needed to consult community about the key features that were required.
- Over a 2-day period, we connected with more than a dozen groups of citizens in 1-hour sessions.
- We reviewed early paper prototypes of the potential website design and collected feedback, what was working well, what we had missed, and ideas we might consider for the future.
- The sessions connected with city staff, members of the public, elected officials, and key leadership for the city.
- Outputs were strong validation on what was working well, key messages that needed clarification, and a long list of ideas for the future.
